We have taken the demands and proposals that we presented at the demonstration In Feminine and In Masculine Too, to the UN.
The 63rd session of the Commission on the Status of Women has just finished. It took place from 11th to 22nd March 2019 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. For several years, Women of the World has been attending and participating in different events. This year we have done it by the hand of two entities with whom we collaborated and who joined the March demonstration: Be Human, Construye and the National Women’s Civic Association from Mexico.
Our claims, proposals and complaints were presented on March 21st in the framework of an event that could not fit us better: Men & Women, Equal but Different. The exhibition was brilliantly carried out by Cecilia Serrano Núñez.
At the end of the event, the group of representatives of the organizations attached to the March 10 demonstration took a photo with the logo, so that they could physically join the demonstration. Thank you!
Our message breaks boundaries and Women of the World is positioned as an international reference. We continue taking steps, learning, acting.
