The presentation sessions of the International Declaration Women of the World (WoW) at various UN events concluded on 19 March in New York during the 59th meeting of the United Nations for the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW59th), which brings together more than 9,000 representatives of countries and NGOs from all over the world. On this occasion, the 20 years of the Beijing Declaration were also celebrated.

The first presentation began on March 14 and involved Profesionales por la Ética, the Family Policy Institute, Construye: Observatory for Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Women's Civic Association

The second presentation of the WoW Declaration in New York took place on March 17th at the symposium Women, Family and Sustainable Development organized by the Family Policy Institute and the Regional Observatory for Women in Latin America and the Caribbean. This event included the participation of Be Woman, an international platform of young Spanish-speaking leaders.

The third presentation of WoW at the UN headquarters in New York took place on March 19 at the meeting Beijing+20 millennium changes and was sponsored by several civil entities.

The Declaration was officially handed over to the Director of the Policy Division at UN-Women Ms. Begoña Lasagabaster, the Ambassador of Hungary Ms. Katalin Bogyay, the President of the National Institute of Women of Mexico, who heads the Official Delegation of that country, Ms. Lorena Cruz, and the Nuncio and Permanent Observer to the Holy See, the Most Reverend Bernadito C. Auza. Auza.

They are a total of 148 entities from 47 countries have adhered to the international Declaration Women of the World
